Buenos dias, muchachas y muchachos y posible gatos! What a fab sunny Sunday in Fayetteville, traversing downtown with my Puerto Rican wing-woman photographer, attempting to look endearingly awkward smizing and holding a fedora (not so fedorable.) Bad news, good news. The bad news is I am incredibly lazy--or just easily distracted by New Girl and water color paints and being back home in the Arkansas outback--and haven't kept my promise to myself to post as regularly as I anticipated. But the good news is that this post right here *DING DING DING* is a pretty good indicator that I am back into the swing of things since I'm settled in at home AAANDDDD these photos double in use as they will be apart of my first post on CollegeFashionista.com, going live in less than a week!!
My Style Guru Bio will be posted on the site ASAP, so keep a look out for any updates! I am beyond excited to have gotten such an AWESOME opportunity, and I'm even more excited to spread a lil' inspiration and encouragement on CollegeFashionista--I probably won't be encouraging everyone to wear hotdog suits around their school (unfortunately) but I do hope to encourage some fashion risk-taking and a lot of stylin' self-expression. Stay tuned!! Romper: Reef, Valdosta, GA ($10) FIRST OF ALL this romper is so deceiving and looks like a dress which is awesome since most rompers make me look five years old or like my butt is really hungry?? I probably shouldn't publish that last sentence? Second, you read right, it was TEN DOLLARS. Granted, I could have gotten ten McDonald's ice cream cones with that money, but I think this romper was a better investment. Shoes: Vince Camuto, Nordstrom ($79) These are my mom's but probably mine soon as I keep stealing them...(please don't read this, mom.) Hat: Target ($14) Earrings: Forever 21 ($4) I'm super into rompers for spring and summer, but they're also one of the few pieces I don't feel super confident pulling off (see above "I look like a kindergartener" comment + how do you use the bathroom in a romper??) Hopefully I can take a couple fashion risks myself and attempt to pull off a few more like this cool nautical tie-front one or even this edgy red bodysuit! If those don't suit your fancy, check out all of these. Still not convinced? Hailey Baldwin and T-Swift are both doing it, so we should too, right?! Thanks to my awesome friend Amanda for leaving work to stomp around busy downtown Fayetteville with me, somehow catching my (mostly) good sides (and a lot of awkward dancing and rockette kicks.) You rock, amiga!!
