If you didn't realize and cringe right away, the above title is definitely to the tune of Justin Bieber's Boyfriend, so yeah, I hate me too. Still not really over the fact that JB (*hair flip* yeah, we have the same initials too) thinks chillin' by the fire and eatin' fondue is something sexy and also NORMAL that couples do? Like idk Justin is that what Canadians do?? Very beside the point, but I assume that if you're reading this you are aware that a solid 90% of the things I communicate are pretty beside the point (or, if you're my roommate, comments that force me to put money into a jar based off of my own stupidity/douchiness.) To get to the meat of this short spurt of writing so I can stop procrastinating and read eighty pages of my History of Fashion textbook, I'll just shut up and post some pictures or something ugh. Look Mom, I'm wearing not gym clothes!!!! ******Jeans: Target ($20) Not sure if this is still going on, but when I purchased these Target was offering a deal that if you tried on a pair of jeans, you automatically got $10 off. Either way--full price or not--these are my new favorite boyfriend jeans. SO COMFORTABLE WOW (and also the more you wear them the comfier and boyfriend-ier they become.) UPDATE: THEY ARE NOW ON SALE FOR $22 ONLINE OKAAAAYYY Blouse: "Thrifted" from Plato's Closet Fayetteville ($6) I'm a sucker for a white peasant blouse and always have one on rotation. Clearly, this is my new favorite. If you're into the flowy boho blouse thing, check out this one from Urban and this one from Forever 21. Booties: Tom's ($98) These. Are. TOMS!!!!! r u confused because I am. These suede booties are the MOST comfortable heel I own, they go with everything, AND in my opinion are worth the money for the quality and awesome cause. They come in black and tan suede, and also in a leather option. BEST. Necklace: Thrifted from Lizzie B's Vintage Shoppe, Fayetteville, AR ($8) My pride and joy and place of work for the summer :') Lizzie B's is an awesome place to find vintage, one-of-a-kind and new home goods, jewelry, and incredible finds. I don't doubt that I spent a hefty chunk of my paycheck before even clocking out for the day. If you're as obsessed with turquoise as I am, click on over and check out this western-inspired choker and these awesome cuffs. ******Here is my going on a slight tangent about my obsession with boyfriend jeans. I LOVE BOYFRIEND JEANS OKAY. Why have a boyfriend when you could just have the boyfriend jeans and look like you took them from your boyfriend so you inadvertently trick everyone into thinking you have a boyfriend but REALLY you just swiped a kickin' pair of pants?? Yeah, that's basically all. From a "professional" "style blogger" standpoint (I just gagged a little, sorry), boyfriend jeans are the new staple pant that flatter basically every body type. It doesn't matter if they fit loose or tight, the overall silhouette is flattering, comfy, and laid-back--just check out Gwen Stefani, Selena Gomez, and style blogger Thamarr from Musings of a Curvy Lady. Into the totally distressed and casual boyfriend jean look? Try these. Want to try the trend but are scared of all the rips and tears (and of your thighs seeping through the holes??) Try these more understated jeans. Thanks for reading, have an AWESOME week, and don't forget to check my CollegeFashionista page soon for my Style Guru Bio featuring this photoshoot! AND don't forget to keep checking back on CF all semester for my articles as a Fall 2015 Style Guru Blogger for UGA! Thnx ily lylas ttyl
